We are the largest organized umbrella manufacturing company in the South Asian region located in Sri Lanka. Our journey starts in the year 1977 with our Founding Chairman and a dedicated team. We have been able to spread our wings with high aspirations since founding and today we are one the most renowned umbrella manufacturer globally.

In addition to umbrellas, Zeelyne also ventured into manufacturing other products; rain wears, mosquito nets and cut & sew products. The company works closely with the global brands from across the world. We are an end-to-end supplier from design to delivery and we export to various world locations, mainly Europe & USA.

Sustainability and Innovation

Better business... Better world... Wastages are carefully managed in order to protect the environment. The major waste in our process is from the umbrella fabrics; the fabric wastes are disposed to the location of a strategic partner who in turn uses the waste to produce cement. As an Organization we have taken the initial step of measuring our carbon foot print and look forward to work towards becoming a carbon neutral company in the future. As a responsible organization in safeguarding the environment we are always keen on the resources that we use and how we manage them.

We use several methods such as,

Measure - Reduce and then set off that which we can't reduce
Pursuing other offset projects to be carbon neutral

Finally, now in line with the global shift towards recycle trend, most of our export orders are produced with recycle fabric materials which means that less impact to the environment at the end of the product life cycle.

Global Supply Integration

Our materials are sourced from various parts of the world, especially from China & India. Our successful relationships with our suppliers enable us to provide specialized supply chain solutions on a day to day basis and create value to all of our Buyers. We work on all types of ‘design to delivery’ solutions for functional and fashion product offerings. Our joint venture for component manufacturing in China & India enables us to have a smooth operation without any downtime. In addition, we are further working with our Partners in China to establish a fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) frame factory and further strengthen our back-end integration.

Our supply chain solutions are integrated in order to create customer value by extending the efficiency, flexibility and cost-effectiveness. We offer various services like stocking materials at our warehouse on behalf of our Buyers, quick lead time solutions (from as less as 7 working days: PO to Delivery), produce finished ods as per forecast from Buyer and supply on ‘order to order’ basis, product to fit retail shelf spaces, etc. We are able to discuss and offer various supply solutions to our Buyers to gain a competitive advantage in their market.

  • Facilities - The ultra-modern manufacturing facilities equipped with state of art technology and production standards. We are blessed with 4 plants and the each plant has a high capacity to meet any requirement or to meet dead line dates of the customers.
  • Sourcing hubs placed in China and India - Our specialized partners who are located in China and India are assist us to acquire certain raw materials, components or other resources and bring all the materials to Sri Lanka and we do value additions according to the customers’ requirements.
  • Ware house facilities - We have tied up with the worlds leading 3PL facility providers ( example : DHL ). Our 3PL warehouse facility and inbound, outbond logistics (local) are maintain under the worlds prime facility providers and this gives us a strength to our key logistic drivers.
  • Outbound logistics solution - The team of professionals’ place to plan, think & strategically provide quality logistics solution to your cargo with the guaranteed with the customer satisfaction.
  • ISO 28000 Supply Chain Security – currently we are working towards obtaining the ISO 28000 certification which will help us asses all risks across our supply chain process and apply the necessary controls. By acquiring this we believe that we can obtain the benefits and it to our Buyers.

Quality Assurance Process

Our QA process starts from sourcing of the raw material supplier to the delivery of final goods. We place very high emphasis on quality (materials, process and finished goods) and always are on the lookout to learn new things and adopt them into our practices.

We are able to provide standard quality testing parameters to our Buyers as well as specialized testing parameters. Our team of professionals are very well thorough with the GS & EU standards for quality requirements as well as chemical requirements (eg: REACH for EU and California65 for US).
